UGAT-AIMA is an entrance exam popularly known as
Under Graduate Aptitude Test organized by AIMA (All India Management
Association). After qualifying the exam candidates can seek admission to
undergraduate programs of BCA, BBA, BHM, and integrated MBA into the
institutes, universities and colleges of Andhra Pradesh states, Haryana, Goa,
Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand,
Tamilnadu, and West Bengal. Candidates who have appeared or cleared class 12 or
equivalent exams are eligible to apply for UGAT. The candidates who aspire to
sit for this exam can select 5 participating organizations for admission. The
scores and data of the respective candidates pass on to the participating organizations.
These institutes agree on the cut-off marks while admission and with additional
screening based on the available seat students get admission to the colleges.
